Critterton

Privacy Policy

Second Player Studios · Last updated: 4 September 2026

The short version: Critterton does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, and no servers. The game does not require an internet connection and does not open one.

What the game stores, and where

Critterton saves your progress on your own device and nowhere else:

This data lives in the app's own storage on your device. It never leaves it. Uninstalling the game deletes all of it, and there is no copy anywhere else, including with us.

What we do not do

Sharing a score

If you tap Share, the game hands a picture of your town and a line of text to your device's own sharing feature, and you choose what to do with it. On a computer it copies the text to your clipboard and saves the picture to your Pictures folder.

Nothing is uploaded by Critterton at any point. Once you choose an app to share to, that app's own privacy policy applies to what you send. We are not part of that exchange and cannot see it.

Children

Critterton is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. There is nothing to delete, export, or request, because nothing about you is recorded outside your own device.

Purchases

Where Critterton is sold, the purchase is handled entirely by the store (Google Play, the App Store, or Steam) under that store's own terms and privacy policy. We receive no payment details.

Changes

If a future version of the game collects anything at all (for example, if online leaderboards are added), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the change will be described here with the date it took effect.
